Giandomenico Massari, Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the Biking Fedperiodtion of Nigeria (CFN), has confirmed that Nigeria had gained the bid to host the 2022 Monitor Africa cycling championship in Abuja.

Massari disclosed on Monday to the Information Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Earlier, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), and the African Biking Confedperiodtion (CAC), signed the contract approving Nigeria As a Outcome of the host of the Monitor Africa championship, between July and August 2022.

He said thOn the contract was signed On the simply-concluded Congress held on Sept. 20 in Leuven – Belgium by
Mohammed Azzam, President of CAC, who doubles As a Outcome of the Vice chairman, UCI, alongside the President of UCI – David Lappartient.

He added thOn the CFN appreciated the UCI for permitting it to host the 2022 UCI Monitor Cup Biking Championship On the Velodrome – Package deal A, MKO Abiola Nationwide Stadium, Abuja.

”For giving us the privilege to host the Monitor cup cycling championship, I am overwhelmed.
